I watched an outtake a few days ago by UG Krishnamurti. I was amused as he spoke with great intensity about love saying ‘It’s a Filthy Word, Love,’ as he says that the central movement of love is lust.
The collective symbols of love and lust have many differentiated truths that appear often within our collective awareness. These symbols represent mental and emotional concepts that are pointers to streams of polarities in play. They are waves of energies arising that have their momentary being within your awareness and then gone.
The words, lust and love, can not have fixed meanings as they are symbols pointing to concepts that are interpreted to have many different streams of meaning. Nonetheless we individually often think lust and love are perceived by others as they are perceived by us.
Take the word lust: Lust is infused with many interpretations covering the entire spectrum from good to bad. Lust within my awareness is the most amazing primal and fierce wave as I sense and feel this stream as one integrated and whole presence within. Since it has become integrated and whole within me there is no longer any resistance to it, as I know this flow as myself, alive and well in the gift of form.
When the life force is no longer attached to a personal story, idea, belief, content, or symbol there is no longer any need to maintain, defend or edit it to fit a particular view or perception of reality. Lust is simply sensed and felt as a stream and is accepted without preference!
I have relaxed and released most labels, perceptions, judgments and desires. Reality has become immediate, direct and unadorned. I have discovered that the unfolding reality is very capable of telling its own story in the immediacy of the moment shared, or not shared. There is no longer any ambivalence or suspicion arising as life is just received as it is.
